Last weekend Jeff and I ventured to a Bed & Breakfast in Black Mountain, NC called The Red Rocker. My parents looked after Amanda while we were gone. Aside from getting a cold unlike any I have ever experienced, we had a wonderful weekend. We were looking forward to a long hike at Chimney Rock, but the weather Saturday morning was absolutely disgusting. We enjoyed time in Black Mountain as well as in Asheville and we met up with our dear friends Chris and Katie Wangelin to surprise Chris for his birthday. Saturday night we all ate at Tupelo Honey in downtown Asheville, one of our all time favorite restaurants. We'll definitely be back to The Red Rocker, and we suggest you put it on your list of places to visit if you enjoy the mountains of NC.
